The Kilwell Xtreme II AL455B Harling Combo are
designed in New Zealand specifically for trout fishing. The Xtreme
II Harling rod is designed with a light action that will cope with
a short length of heavy lead line but is still sensitive enough to
see when the action of your lure is just right. The Alvey
455B Trolling/Harling Reel is light weight with a graphite
back plate. It has the bonus of a line warning clicker. When
combined, these 2 excellent products create the Kilwell
Xtreme II AL455B Harling Combo. Top tip for use: The ideal
speed for harling is about walking speed, between 1 to 2 km/h. With
a Tassie Devil lure the rod tip should be nodding gently.
