The Alvey AL456BFN and Kilwell Xtreme II Trolling
Combo is made in New Zealand specifically for Trout
fishing. This combo comes with an Alvey AL456BFN which is a
lightweight yet robust reel with a vented spool and fish warning
clicker. This reel has great capacity, durable simple to use and
easy to maintain. The reel is spooled with 10 colours of 36lb Lead
line and 100yds of 30lb braided backing. The Xtreme II rod is
designed with an action that will cope with 10 colours of heavy
lead line but is still sensitive enough to see when the action of
your lure is just right.

Top tip: The ideal speed for Trolling is about a fast walking
speed, around 2.6 km/h. With a Tassie Devil lure the rod tip should
be nodding gently.
